Verdict
A craft room machine more than a laser cutter. It swaps between a 10 or 20 W diode, a blade (up to 2.5 mm), a color inkjet and a pen. If you'd otherwise buy a Cricut and a small laser, this replaces both. As a pure laser it is slow (400 mm/s) and the 300 mm bed is small.
Buy it for
- Card makers, scrapbookers and sticker sellers
- Printing color and then cutting it out
- Households that want one machine for paper, vinyl and wood
Skip it if
- You mainly laser-cut wood (the S1 is faster and cuts thicker)
- You want metal engraving
- You need a big bed
What it can do, material by material
Based on the laser types it carries. "With coating" means only with marking spray, a coated surface or light marks. Always test on scrap first.
